Small restaurant and accommodation in Yeovil town centre, tucked away at the top of the high street. The restaurant has a daily menu from which you can order one, two or three courses. On the day I went it was £15.95 for a main, £19.95 for two courses and 19.95 for three courses. The quality of the food is good and portion sizes reasonable, although the dessert portions looked a little small. There is an outside area for Al fresco drinking/eating, which is an alley between two buildings but perfectly pleasant.
The main course was wonderful the Steaks here are locally sourced and cooked to everyone's preference. However it is let down by a poor desert menu and bad service. I had to ask several times for a coffee and the desserts were served so slowly that several of our group cancelled their's as we were due somewhere else. It is a shame as the main courses are very good and the place is clean and tidy

Wonderful Hotel . Our room for the disabled extremely pleasant. Staff very helpful . We stay here quite often. Love Yeovil. Used to live here 60 years ago.
We arrived at about 10pm onTuesday 3rd July 2018 very tired and frustrated (parking is a nightmare) to be greeted by a wonderful re eptionist who sorted everything out for us and went above and beyond. What lovely person! The five stars are for her.

Gorgeous food and at reasonable prices, for a truly stunning country pub. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Cannot stress enough that if you haven’t been here and want to go or are thinking about it; have no fear! The place is 5* in my opinion!
Wonderful food. The menu doesn't change much although they have a specials board. They are good at what they do. It gets very busy especially during the summer and on event days like Valentine's, Mother's and Father's days, Easter etc. They have a car park and friendly staff. When I have visitors I always choose The Half Moon Inn for our evening meal or lunch. They are open all day!

A wonderful B&B. Large comfortable room and bathroom. The breakfast was delicious. A perfect break to the countryside! Carol went the extra mile and posted me my hairdryer when I had left it behind which was very kind. A lovely couple and a delightful place to spend the weekend.
Fantastic B&B, great room, lovely people and excellent food.

I had an excellent 1 night stay, mainly due to the very hospitable Janet. She made the place, along with a beautifully cooked breakfast. My room was like something out of Lilliput but very clean and 'cosy' and had all I needed for 1 night. Thanks Janet..

Lovely host, lovely stay. It's cosy so everyone living there needs to get along with each other!
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
